Xolo Q600s and Xolo Q1200 now available online at Rs.7499 and Rs.14999

Xolo expands its Q series smartphone list with launching two phones. The smartphone are exclusively available on Snapdeal. Xolo Q600s is the entry level smartphone which competes with Moto E. It is running on the latest Android 4.4 KitKat. It has a 4.5-inch qHD OGS IPS display and powered by 1.2 GHz quad-core processor coupled with 1 GB of RAM. The phone also support USB OTG. It is priced at Rs.7499. It gives tough completion to Micromax Unite 2, Motorola Moto E and recently launched Lava Iris X1.

On the other hand, Xolo Q1200 is running on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean out of the box, but xolo promises that it will be upgraded to Android 4.4 KitKat. It has 5-inch HD IPS display and powered by 1.3 GHz processor coupled with 1 GB of RAM. Display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. It has 8 GB internal memory which is expandable upto 64 GB.

LOOK AND FEEL:-

Micromax Unite 2 looks pretty good. Build quality is improved as compared to the previous phones from Micromax. The Volume Rocker is on right side of the phone under it there is a power button. There is no buttons on the left side of the phone. On the Back it has a 5 MP auto focus camera with a single LED flash. Phone is handy and quite fits in your palms.

DISPLAY:-

Micromax Unite 2 has a 4.7-inch WVGA (480*800 pixels) resolution IPS Display. Which is not a great display for such a big screen, thanks to IPS pannel which makes screen bright and crisp. Viewing angles are also so good not the best. Overall Display quality is average. We can't expect more in this tight budget.

SOFTWARE:-

Micromax Unite 2 runs on the latest Android 4.4.2 with some improved stock UI. And also like Moto E, Micromax also promises to give a major Android Update in near future. Device supports FOTA. So one can easily upgrade software through internet without going to service centers.

CAMERA:-

Micromax Unite 2 has a 5 MP auto focus camera with a single LED flash and a 2 MP fixed focus front facing camera. Camera quality of Micromax Unite 2 is above average and better that Motorola Moto E. The images in low light conditions are not so good. LED flash is quite bright. Pictures taken from Micromax Unite 2 are Good. Camera is also capable of recording 720p HD videos.

STORAGE AND PERFORMANCE:-

Micromax Unite 2 comes with 1 GB of RAM and 4 GB of Internal Memory. User will get 1.67 GB for User data (like: pictures, songs, videos etc) and 900 MB for Apps installation, which is low. But We can move the apps to external SD card as well. Out of 1 GB of RAM, we get 965 MB usable RAM, in which 500+MB RAM is free, which is good.

Also it has 1.3 GHz MediaTek MT6582M Quad-core processor, which is great and makes phone buttery smooth. Performance of the phone is quite good. Multi-tasking is also great, thanks to quad-core processor and 1 GB of RAM. You can easily play HD videos through it. also you can able to play Full-HD videos without any lag using any third party apps.

The phone support dual Sim, one slot is Full sized Sim slot and another one is Micro Sim. Speaker is present on back side of the phone and is quite loud.

BATTERY:-

Micromax Unite 2 Comes with 2000 mAh of battery, which company claimed to have talktime of 8 hours. but in our use we find battery average. It lasts for 5-6 hours. For average use it can run whole day with a single charge.

VERDICT:-

Micromax Unite 2 is a good smartphone present in the market. It has some cons and also pros. It is good choice if you are unable to buy Moto E. One and most important thing is Micromax poor after sales service let it behind from Moto E. Moto E win in this department. So you can read both reviews and choose the phone which is best for you.

LG has announced its new flagship device LG G3, the successor of LG G2, which launched last year. Lava Mobiles just launched its new smartphone from its X series, Lava Iris X1. As recently Lava announced that it will bring a smartphone in its X series running on Android 4.4 KitKat and priced under Rs.8000. Today Lava complete its promise and launched the new Lava Iris X1 with Android 4.4.2 KitKat at Rs.7999. Micromax Canvas Engage A091 with Android 4.4 available at Rs.6199

Indian Manufacturer Micromax recently introduced its first smartphone running on the latest Android 4.4 KitKat, Micromax Unite 2 A106. Now it comes with a latest smartphone from its Canvas series, Micromax Canvas Engage A091 running on Android 4.4 KitKat. It is the first smartphone of the Canvas series running on the latest Android 4.4 KitKat.

The smartphone is spotted on eBay at a price tag of Rs.6199. Also the technology website- micromaxcanvas.co.in confirmed it with giving the pictures of Micromax Canvas Engage Box. According to it, The smartphone has a 4-inch WVGA screen with 1.2 GHz quad-core processor with 512 MB of RAM. It has 5 MP rear camera and a VGA front camera.

Nokia X2 Dual Sim Spotted with Dedicated Home button, Specs leaks

Microsoft, was earlier rumored that It is working on a another Android device from their X series. The device seems to have a dedicated home button which is missing in their earlier versions. Today, Nokia X2DS (RM-1013) is listed on Antutu benchmark site with specifications.

According to this Antutu benchmark site, The device Nokia X2DS (RM-1013) is running on Android 4.3, has a 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon dual-core MSM8x10 processor capable of clocking upto 1190 MHz. Along with Adreno 305 GPU and 1 GB of RAM.

Also It has 4.3-inch display with 480*800 pixel resolution, with 5 MP rear camera and 0.3 MP front facing camera. The Antutu score of Nokia X2DS is 11827.

Earlier, Nokia introduced 3 smartphone from their X series Nokia X, Nokia X+ and Nokia XL. Recently launched in India. While Nokia X is currently selling at Rs.6899, Nokia X+ is at Rs.7599 and Nokia XL is at Rs.10499.

Microsoft Launched Nokia X+ smartphone in India at Rs.8399

Today Microsoft finally launched its another smartphone in X series, The Nokia X+. The phone is priced at Rs.8399. Microsoft did not announced the availability details. Expected to soon in the retail stores. As you already know that Nokia X+ is the another smartphone from Nokia X series following by Nokia X. Microsoft also launched the Nokia XL, which is recently go online last week. Nokia XL gets official price tag of Rs.11489.
There is no much difference between Nokia X and Nokia X+. In Nokia X+ you will get 768 MB of RAM but in Nokia X you will only get 512 MB of RAM. Rest of the specification are same as Nokia X. Nokia XL is the Phablet from Nokia X series, It boost up with a 5-inch WVGA display, 1GHz dual core processor and 768 MB of RAM.

Microsoft also announced that it tied up with Airtel to offer users free unlimited download of android apps for six months and 500 MB free 2G or 3G data on Airtel network on the Nokia XL dual sim.

LOOK AND FEEL:-

Phone looks quite good. It look like its previous phone Moto G and Moto X. Thickness of the phone is 12.3mm and weights around 142 grams. The Built quality is good as compared to the Indian Brands phone present in the market at this price range. The screen is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 which makes its first budget smartphone under 10k which has a Corning Gorilla Glass protection.

Moto E screen is really good as compared to other smartphone in this price range. It has 540*960 pixel Resolution screen. The Display is of 4.3-inch. The text and images looks good and crisp on the display and have a decent viewing angles.

Moto E runs on the latest Android 4.4.2 Operating System with almost stock UI. Which is quite good. Also Motorola promises that it will get a major Android Update in near future, which make the device Future-proof.

Motorola Moto E has a 5 MP fixed focus camera without LED flash. Also it lacks of a front facing camera. The 5 MP shooter takes Decent picture. Sometime clicked picture has very much noise. Forget about low light pictures its terrible.

STORAGE AND PERFORMANCE:-

Moto E has 1.2 GHz Dual Core processor coupled with 1 GB of RAM. It has 4 GB of RAM from which 2.2 GB user accessible. It support 32 GB microSD card. With a decent processor and 1 GB RAM the phone runs smoothly and we did not face any lag during our uses. Moto E is much faster and smoother device compared to the devices present in this category. On the multimedia side it can play 720p HD videos easily, We can also capable of playing 1080p Full-HD video with MX Player app without any lag which is quite good. It support dual sim, which is micro sim. It is 3G and Wi-Fi capable. Many user ask for Tethering support is present or not? Yes it is present as you can see in the picture. You can set up Wi-Fi hotspot with Moto E. Moto E has mono speaker under the screen which is quite loud and clear. Sound quality through headphone and the handset is decent.

It has a 1980mAh battery. When useed with 3G connection which lasted upon 16-18 hours which is above average and best for a budget smartphone.

VERDICT:-

As we already said that Moto E is a affordable best smartphone under 10k budget. If you want a good smartphone running on latest version of android, and you don't much care about the phone camera. It is the best phone you can get on this price range. But if you need a good smartphone with good camera this is not for you.

Karbonn Mobiles latest smartphone Karbonn A25+ just appear on the e-commerce website with a price tag of Rs.5799. There is no official statement of Karbonn about this smartphone.

The smartphone seems to be the successor of recently launched smartphone the Karbonn A25. The smartphone runs on Android 4.2 Jelly bean out of the box and supports Dual-Sim (GSM+GSM). On the display side, it has 5-inch FWVGA resolution screen. It has 1.3 GHz Dual-Core processor with 512 MB of RAM. The Karbonn A25+ supports 5 MP rear camera with LED flash and 0.3 MP front facing camera. It is powered by 4 GB of internal storage and 1800 mAh battery. Micromax, The biggest Indian Mobile Manufacturer just introduced its new smartphone from its Bolt series. The Latest Micromax Bolt A69 with Dual Sim and 3G support. The smartphone is listed on company's official website without price tag and availability information.

The latest Micromax Bolt A69 offers Dual sim (GSM+GSM) and runs on Android 4.2 Jelly bean out of the box. The budget smartphone have 4.5-inch TFT display with FWVGA resolution. The smartphone is powered by a Broadcomm Dual Core cortex A9 processor clocked at 1 GHz with 512 MB of RAM.The smartphone support a 5 MP rear camera with LED flash and 0.3 MP front facing camera. It has 4GB internal memory and a 1800 mAh Battery which according to company have 7 hours of talk time and 350 hours of standby time.
There is no word of official availability and pricing. Hope the pricing will be under Rs7000. As it is already listing on a e commerce website at Rs.6599.

REVIEW:-

The phone looks like old Samsung galaxy S duos and has the plastic feel. Phone has a 4-inch WVGA screen with a physical HOME key button. On the above of screen there is grilled earpiece and VGA front facing camera with a pair of sensors i.e ambient light sensor and proximity sensor. There is no LED notification.

The power button located at the right side and below which it have hot swappable microSD card slot. Over the left there is volume rocker. Down the bottom micro USB slot and a primary microphone. Coming to the top there is 3.5 mm audio jack. On the back side there is 5MP camera with LED flash and speaker and Samsung Logo below it. Display is better and crisp with 233ppi. Camera is good compared the phone in this price range. Camera app is skinned by Samsung and have many features. Camera support HD recording at 1280*720 pixels resolution.

The RAM of device is only 768 MB, which we found insufficient for multitasking. As we started the phone the Free RAM is only 222 MB, which is very less. And out of 4 GB internal storage only 2.16 GB is available for user.

Device is pretty good and comes with a good user interface of Samsung's Latest TouchWiz 4.2. On the connectivity side it support dual Sim with full sized (not micro sim). and Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS with GLONASS support.

On the software side it comes with the latest Android 4.2.2 Operating system.

Nenamark 2 :- 54.9 Frame per second
Basemark X HD :- 10.68 Frame per second

CONCLUSION:-

Samsung Priced it so high. Specs are not so good according to the price. If you want only a branded smartphone you can buy it. Otherwise the great option available in the market at this price range like Nokia Lumia 525, Xolo Q700S, Micromax Canvas 2 Colors etc.

PROS:- Good Display, better camera, Samsung's brand name and battery life

CONS:- Low RAM, not sufficient internal storage and pricing is high
