IAF confirmed Advisory was 4 months old, No Ban on Xiaomi and other Chinese smartphones

Recently the IFA advisory come into headlines that the Chinese smartphone giants mainly Xiaomi are sending users private data to Chinese servers. Now IFA clarifies that the advisory was 4 months old and No ban on these smartphones. According to Indian Express, "The recent privacy scare regarding Xiaomi smartphones was just hype after all as the Indian Air Force (IAF) on Tuesday clarified to IndianExpress.com that the said advisory against using phones from this Chinese brand was about “four to five months old”. That would mean the alert was from before the Xiaomi started selling its phones in India."

Xiaomi already confirmed that they are not sending any private data of users to chinese servers, As a part of cloud services user can enable or disable the service if they want to backup their data to cloud server or not. After IFA clarification, its a relief for Xiaomi and its users.

Google officially announced Android 5.0 Lollipop

Google has officially announced its latest version of Android that will be called as Android 5.0 Lollipop. The Android 5.0 was previewed earlier in this June, Announced by Sundar Pichai, Google's senior VP of Android and Chrome. Google also announced its latest Google Nexus 6 smartphone and Nexus 9 tablet along with Nexus Player. All these three devices are the first to run on the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop. Also it will available on Nexus 4, Nexus 5, Nexus 7, Nexus 10 and all Google Play edition devices in coming weeks.

The latest version of Android brings new colors, icons and animation that enhance navigation and makes it more intuitive. Android 5.0 gives user more control over notifications by allowing them to limit them in certain instances. One of the most important feature of Android 5.0 is that it gets a new battery saver feature that extends the battery life upto 90 minutes.
