For this we have a solution for you. There is a app called WAVE CONTROL. It is a free app available on both iOS and android devices that allows you to control you music with the wave of your hands. It uses your phones proximity sensor. If your phone does not have proximity sensor you can not use this app. With this app you just have to wave your hands over the phone(over proximity sensor) and you can easily control music. like pause music, go to next song, go to previous one and stop and play the music.

Just install the app and configure the gesture functions, as automatically these option are set previously.
