Philips enters in the smartphone market in may 2014. Now its much awaited smartphone, Philips I928 is launched in India along with its mid-range smartphone, Philips S388. Both the device runs on the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system and listed on Philips India official website. The Philips I928 has a massive 6-inch Full-HD (1920*1080 pixels) resolution IPS display with 2.5D curved glass screen. It is powered by 1.7 GHz Octa-core MediaTek MT6592 processor along with 2 GB of RAM. It has 13 MP autofocus camera with LED flash and a 5 MP front facing camera. It is backed up with 3000 mAh of battery and covered with 16 GB of Internal storage.
On the other hand, Philips S388 is a mid range smartphone. It has 4.5-inch qHD (960*540 pixles) IPS display. It is powered by 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582M processor along with 1 GB of RAM and 4 GB of Internal storage. It is has 5 MP of rear camera with LED flash and 0.3 MP of front facing camera. It is backed up with 1700 mAh of Battery. Looking at the specification, Philips wrongly priced both the smartphones. Well specification like Philips S388, We can easily get at a price of 8k. Same as with I928.
